So my understanding of the message is: We should show our faith in actions but do good in general and help them connect it to Jesus. You have some very good ideas. It reminds me of the line “Give us our daily bread.” It means we have to be thankful for the bread and we ask for the bread of life (sustenance of our faith) in order to be connected with Jesus each and everyday. I don’t think any of you are being phony or ridiculous for praying in public, I find it to be very brave

Thank you for being so honest with us. I have watched your interview several times. And gives me the strength to continue "loving the sinner, but not the sin". I have several friends that are in same sex relationships and sometimes it is hard.

You have no idea how much this is speaking to me right now. I go to court tomorrow, not for a crime I knowingly committed but a stupid oversight (traffic court). I'm terrified, despite my own faith and the prayers of many good people. I've watched parts of this three times, and I have prayed as Fr. Ripperger instructs. Thanks and many blessings!

Failure = success but it is ultimately in God's hands how it turns out. As long as you try ,you don't fail. Thats my understanding.

There is so much in this passage Mk 5:21-43: ‘While he was still speaking, people from the synagogue official's house arrived and said, "Your daughter has died; why trouble the teacher any longer?" Disregarding the message that was reported, Jesus said to the synagogue official, "Do not be afraid; just have faith." And something from C.S Lewis in Mere Christianity: ‘It is not reason that is taking away my faith: on the contrary, my faith is based on reason. It is my imagination and emotions.’ p139 (for example - fear is an emotion, quite often as a result of stirring wrongly our imagination which the devil is using to weaken our faith).

Why Our Father is a complete prayer? The “Our Father” is a prayer of perfect and unselfish love because it is the prayer that God's Incarnate Son taught us. In saying the Our Father, we offer ourselves entirely to the Father and ask Him for the best things, not only for ourselves, but also for our neighbor.

And the rest would be put back into the community. Y’all would rather put on a massive concert every Sunday and act like y’all are the coolest dude on the planet. Then actually make a difference and help the unfortunate and lost.

The apostle Paul explains that all humans are born with sin inside of us: Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil-the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. Ephesians 2:1-3 (NLT) So, if we don’t obtain salvation through Jesus, we will all manifest greater degrees of wickedness as time passes. Second Timothy 3:12-13 (NIV) says, “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” Without the Spirit of God to help us overcome the sin within us, the force of sin grows. With enough time, sin will dominate our thoughts and actions. That is because as we feed on our pursuits of pleasure, our sinful nature grows in force. What you feed will grow stronger. The sinful nature eventually overwhelms any of our human efforts to be good. And as sin’s domination over our soul prospers, we become hardened in our hearts. A lost person eventually gives in to the selfishness that drives them. Some people have had life circumstances that caused them to fall faster and deeper into sin than others. But eventually, without salvation through accepting Christ, the corruption of evil will reach satanic heights. This is a major life lesson to remember: It doesn’t matter what level of sinfulness a person is at when they die physically; even a speck of sin keeps a person out of heaven and sends them to hell. That is because sin is not static. Sin corrupts progressively, irreversibly, absolutely, and completely given enough time. Even a speck of sin is the seed of a future satanic being within. So, the “nice people” who die without Christ must go to the same hell as Hitler.

I COULD GO ON BUT, GO TO CONFESSION OFTEN AND PRAY THE ROSARY. CONFESS ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YOUR SINS. HOLDING BACK IS HOW YOU STAY ENSLAVED TO SIN AND THE DEVIL. I KNOW I HAVE BEEN THERE. ALSO CONSECRATION TO THE BLESSED MOTHER WILL GIVE YOU STRENGTH. SHE WILL HELP YOU. GOD BLESS. NEVER GIVE UP.
